Went here for our anniversary dinner and had a great experience. They gave us the best seat in the house and brought us two glasses of sparkling on arrival to celebrate which we appreciated. Service was all fantastic from start to finish. All of the food was also very good. The branzino was the real standout. The skin had a lovely char and was nice and crispy. Also a generous size. The bask cheesecake dessert with salted caramel and whiskey cherries was also really good. Plenty of options on the wine list for 100 as well. Recommend!
This place usually takes reservations. But when we walked in, Amen accommodated us. He was very nice and the cook actually brought in the food for us on the table. Ambience is very relaxing and cozy. Amen and his team were excellent. Exceptional hospitality. Food was double portions, so we had good quantity food, which was very good on our palate. Don't forget to dress formally.
This is by far one of the best and tastiest restaurants I’ve tried! The chef really knows what he’s doing—the food tastes like heaven, beautifully cooked and presented with great attention to detail. Well done, chef! We had a party of 11, and everyone enjoyed both the food and the service. I will definitely be back. Parking is available underground, and the price is fair. The parking elevator opens directly into the restaurant, which is a nice plus! I do wish the interior felt a bit more lively—when we were there, all the curtains were closed, which made the space feel a bit dim. There’s definitely room for some atmosphere improvement. 9.5/10 Cheers, and thanks!
Had such a great experience at this restaurant with my husband. We are new to the city & loved every bit of our night here. We were greeted with caviar bumps, a glass of Prosecco & a lovely night of great hospitality. The Cornish Hen is one of the best dishes I’ve tasted. Will be back again for our anniversary!
We went to the restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The food was amazing. We shared few dishes including the Crispy Cauliflower, winter salad, Octopus, corniche chicken and the fish of the day which was a madai. Every single one of the dishes were amazing. Not only our server was very nice and friendly but also he offered two desserts on the house to celebrate the occasion. At the end Amen, one of the partners gave us a tour and greeted us! We highly recommend this restaurant!
Had an amazing girls' night at Lyla. The food and service were top notch. Started with the Bloody Brooklyn, which I highly recommend, and ordered the hummus with pita and Spanish croquettes. The appetizers were so good and we ended up ordering another round of the croquettes. Everything was hot, fresh, and flavourful. For my main I had the branzino, cooked beautifully and seasoned perfectly. I’ll definitely be back for it. Finished the night with the Fleur de Gin, a great drink to end off the night. The service was excellent, with a friendly and attentive service team. Highly recommend Lyla for a great night out.
I had a lovely experience at Lyla Toronto. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out — we were warmly greeted, and they kindly offered to take our jackets, which was a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive the entire evening. The ambiance was beautiful — chic, elegant, and perfect for a night out. As for the food, it was okay. Not bad by any means, but it didn’t quite blow me away. That said, the overall vibe and service definitely made up for it. I’d still return, especially for the atmosphere and hospitality.
Had the best girlies’ night at Lyla! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the hospitality was top-notch. Our server, Katia, was incredibly friendly, sweet, and went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs — which I really appreciated. The beef tartare and 12-ounce strip loin with bone marrow were absolutely delicious. Such a perfect spot for a night out — definitely coming back!
